Wincanton, DPD, John Lewis and Cemex part of DVSA’s earned recognition pilot

Hauliers could end up before a traffic commissioner at a public inquiry if they’re found to have tampered with the exhaust emissions values on their manufacturer’s plate, the DVSA has warned.

DPD is to begin delivering parcels seven days a week to meet demand from e-commerce customers.

TfL has done well to minimise compliance costs under the Safer Lorry Scheme but ultimately the initative remains misguided, the FTA has said.
