Collapse of British Steel and Wolf Minerals cost Hargreaves Services £16.1m

Following the themes of recent weeks the big winner in the Motor Transport tracker is Hargreaves Group – even if the performance of its transport group is slightly off target.

Hargreaves Services has purchased civil engineering and earth moving group Pryor, after the latter was placed into administration.

The insolvency of a major mining customer cost Hargreaves Services more than £8m last year, the group revealed today.
