Collapsed events haulier in advanced rescue talks

The logistics sector has slammed a new report by the Transport Select Commmitte (TSC) demanding it solves the driver shortage and upgrades rest facilities within two years or face a government supply chain levy.

FORS Gold member and tipper haulier PJ Brown (Construction) went into administration owing £6.5m to creditors, an administrator’s report has revealed.

JDL Logistics has entered administration with the loss of 29 jobs.
